Toubleshooting Mac OS X 10.6.x for the InSite System
Firefox, OSX 10.6 InSite 32bit bug work around

Firefox now defaults to 64 bit mode when installed on Mac OSX 10.6.x. However InSite does not support 64 bit browsers and because of this one of the results is uploads will fail. In order to use Firefox 4 or greater with InSite you will need to change the default setting to 32 bit mode. It’s quite simple to do and will not negatively affect Firefox performance. Here is how to do it:

1. In your Applications folder find the Firefox icon.

Find the Firefox icon in your Applications folder

2. Select the Firefox.app application and choose File/Get Info (⌘+I).

3. In the Firefox.app Info dialog box open theGeneral section and check the box for "Open in 32-bit mode".

Select Open in 32 Bit Mode

This should resolve any upload issues that are associated with OSX (10.6.x) Firefox users on InSite. If you are still having difficulty uploading please contact your Technical Service Representative at nuckd@caseyprinting.com.
