Casey Printing placed it’s order for a new energy efficient air compression system. Working with PG&E consultants and a private contractor, an energy audit was performed on the electrical consumption and efficiency of Casey’s current air compressors. Once the audit was completed, a plan was developed to improve the efficiency of the system, which includes a new variable drive screw type compressor, new filtration systems and a new air dryer.

Once installed, the system will save about 80,000 Kilowatt hours of electricity per year, which is enough power to run more than 12 homes, based upon PG&E typical residential home usage data.
